Willayah Persekutuan Labuan, known as the Pearl of the South China Sea (Mutiara Laut Cina Selatan).

Labuan actually got it’s name from the word Perlabuhan which means Port in Bahasa Malaysia, being a popular port in the early history of Malaysia, it is also one of the world’s Offshore Financial Center which in the World only roughly 40 of them around, among those is the United Arab Emirates.

Being one of the Federal Territories in Malaysia, besides Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, it is also one that is over the Sea, on the east side of Malaysia.

Below through the clouds, surrounded by the Sea Lies the Little Island Called Labuan

Labuan, An Island for Tourist who loves a whole lots of the Sun and the Sea...

Many people do not know of Labuan, when I told my friends about my hometown, they would usually think that Labuan is located in Sarawak or ended up with a very puzzled face. Because during my time when we learn geography, Labuan was not one of the focused state, like I mentioned, unlike Kuala Lumpur, everyone knows it’s the Capital of Malaysia and a very busy busy city center. So, if I would compare W.P. Kuala Lumpur and W.P. Labuan, it would be like KL is a very high profile, busy, happening and advanced Person while Labuan is a laid back, relaxed, low profile and quite person. However, quite doesn’t mean not entertaining and dull. Being a Labuanian (a term that I came up with to describe people who originates from Labuan), I am proud of this little Island and not only because I am a Labuanian myself but it truly holds up its name to be the Pearl of South China Sea. There are many attractions in Labuan, and I will be your guide (Proudly!)

I'll list down a few places that people would go, but not all because I wouldn't want to show everything here, you need to fly yourself here to see it yourself.
If you do watch TV, you would have noticed one of 8TV's program DESTINASI BAJET have visited Labuan before.

The Labuan Memorial Park and Chimney. Both are landmarks which are left by the Australian and Japanese before independence. You might say, oh... its just another building or landmark, nothing interesting... or... duh... boring. Every year, there would be a memorial day for the Australian soldiers who have fought in the war for this little island. The Chimney on the other hand is used as a lookout point, and what you've seen in the pictures have been restored for the purpose of tourism. There is also the Japanese Surrender Point, ha.. haaa... that is one of the popular spots too, but I would not show you because you would have to see it, smell it and touch it yourself~ huhuhu~
Labuan is surrounded by the Sea, once you reached the edge of any side of Labuan, all you can see and smell is the Sea. Supplier of various kinds of Seafood, Used as a means of Transportation, a Port, the Sea around Labuan is used for many purpose, even Water Sports such as Kayaking, Jet Skiing, Sailing and Fishing Sports. In any way you see it, the Sea around Labuan is beautiful and rich. Oh, did I mention Scuba Diving?? >_< I am Sure many have visited Aquaria in KLCC right? The Labuan Marine Museum is some sort like a Scaled Down Version of the much more populated version in Kuala Lumpur. One can gain much knowledge about the Sea in this location. You can see fishies swimming around in the tank, touch and feel marine life like the star fish and baby shark. Once you are done, you can have some refreshments or have a meal on the Floating Restaurant!

Another attraction, not far from the Chimney is the Labuan Bird Park! Yes, Labuan has a Bird park. Entrance Fee is Rm3 and there are many different species of Birds in it. Ranging from normal domestic chicken to the high soaring Eagle, from the colourful parrots to the majestic Horn-bills.

In the aviary, the birds are left to roam freely, this way, the birds are more lively and happy. There are even birds that you can interact with! The birds are all friendly so no worries that they would come and attack you. ^_^

There are 2 famous beaches in Labuan, Pancur Hitam and Layang-Layangan. These two beaches are popular for people to come enjoy the weekends, it is not uncommon to drive along the coast and see families having picnics and enjoying their time by the beach.
and one of the favorite hang out activities that is my favorite would be..

Hanging out by the Surrender Point and have a few Cucuks of Satays and Bijis of Coconuts with my Friends.

Anyways, onto today's topic!
The question when asked... Who are you? Usually people would answer their name, followed by their occupation or anything that is creative that makes people laugh. Seriously, Who are you?
Our identity and character changes accordingly. Some people never change whereas some people changes dynamically. Like me, I change a lot, adjusting to every different environment and needs. I remember during my internship, in the office, i tend to be as quiet and as low profile as possible (unlike before intern, I tend to be very high profile and active in socializing) Why the sudden change? I notice at times I need to be serious and when I am quiet, I would look more arrogant and snobbish, thats what most people said. Yet, that is how I am.

Moving on... People usually look up to their Idols. Being a Fan means being someone who looks up and idolize the idol. When you like someone or something, you tend to Mimic their actions, their way of talking and even the way they dress. In the end, if being too fanatic, one person could be consumed by the thought of that he/she is that person he/she idolizes. It is scary, why does this happen? The answer is... People does this in order to get closer to the one they like, they love and idolize so much, by being the similar person, they would feel they are somewhat closer...This happens to me at times when I was much younger (no details will be spurred out this moment ^_^)
All i can say is.....~

Harddisk = Brain??

Ever though of that our Brain is like a Harddisk? We input things that we learn and experience and then we will tend to remove what we do not need?
I kinda disagree with my own statement. Because, what I think is that, the Brain is not like a Harddisk, we cannot truly forget everything if we wanted, not like a harddisk we can just delete what we do not need and make space for newer files. Our brain is fascinating, we can think, remember and act according to its decision. It practically controls our whole body!
Many technologies tried to mimic the human brain, scientist are getting close but yet very far apart from the actual stuff. Our brain is just so Juicy and irreplaceable. However, don't you think its nice sometimes to just forget about something or someone completely, like having amnesia? Wouldn't it be nice... I guess that is what makes us Human.

What is Beautiful What is Ugly?
Beautiful things would always be the ones that are pleasant to see, ignite the sight senses. While Ugly things, mmm... it does harm to the eyes only. But how to determine which is beautiful which is ugly? Is it when more people say it is beautiful, then only it will be? or just somethings are plain ugly that i would end up in the judgment as something ugly?
It all depends on people's view, but, its true when it states majority has the power to determine which is pleasant and which is eyesore.
Which means, Ugly is Ugly and Beautiful is Beautiful.
That is why first Impression is important, people often see how the exterior looks like before getting in the contents, so it is hard to not judge the cover of a book.
Ugly + A Whole lot of Modifications = Beautiful... ^^ get it?

Bye Bye Toto

On Saturday, 5th of December 2009, i finally said good bye to Toto.
For those that do not know, Toto is/was my tortoise that Mildred gave me in 2007. It was so small then and at one time i even thought it has stopped growing...it remained for the same size for more than a year. Toto was actually the first pet that has flew on the plane with me the most time. Meaning, i smuggled it passed the customs the most times. uwahahahaha! it transports by air for 8 times!!! where as Cheese (the hedgehog i used to have also) only traveled twice.

In just a few weeks, its size grewww! And Dad said its time to let it go...
so I did...

There are many many locations to be considered when I wanted to release Toto, but in the end, the best place was Botanical Garden. There you see, Toto was swimming freely in the lake water.
At first, Toto was not going away, keep staying at the same place, then after a few minutes, he started to explore his new habitat... I wish him well~..

Love for Tarts

Don't you just love them, no matter it is egg tarts or blueberry cheese tarts. I love all of them~ Tarts tarts~ I just wish i could try all of them! Anywhere there are tarts, I will try! I think that is what I have been doing, but still, the best one that I like most is the Egg tarts that my mom makes~ (Although the crust are not so nice and the eggs are burnt! ahahahaha)

AIDS

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (From Wikipedia)

AIDS, something that many people do not understand. It is a disease just like any other (cancer) but always being look down upon by the society.

Yes, Imagine this, Tell someone you have Cancer, see what their reaction is, then after that, tell someone you have AIDS and again see what their reaction is. People will often show more negativity towards those who have AIDS, but one thing I don't Understand is that, Why?! Cancer is a disease, a sickness, so is AIDS, what's the difference in it? Why do people see AIDS differently?(Fight AIDS, not the People with AIDS - Get it?)

Most of the time, perceptions when you get Cancer is - "Yea, its not what you want, you get cancer unwillingly" but for AIDS - "That's why keep having sex all around without protection, fuck la! fuck somemore, now get AIDS dy"

That what people would usually think, and it is WRONG! That kind of thinking is premature and childish!(Without Proper protection, it is super Dangerous, First Protection is EDUCATION)

Not everyone get AIDS by simply fucking around, some are accidents such as blood transfusion. It is sadder to see someone with AIDS than Cancer, Cancer up at the early stages can still be maintain and cure, but AIDS? No! No cure, just medications that have to be taken very regularly to maintain one's health, and they do not consume the same medication for whole of their life, the medication has to be altered and change according to their condition, imagine, once a while you need to do blood test and determine which medication is suitable. THAT IS JUST SAD and inconvenient for the patient ok!

Many people are not really educated on AIDS or rather HIV. All they want to do is FUCK without protection, ok... don't be responsible, go simply Fuck without protection and then end up you lose your life to a Disease. Be responsible! Use a Condom!(Don't be a cheap ass, they are not expensive!)

And Don't think Gay Sex (Mmm... Ass Fucking or Receptive Anal Intercourse) Would not be necessarily to use condom. One of my so called friend actually mentioned "Aiya, why need condom, guy and guy also wont Pregnant" That where he is stupid and irresponsible, Condom is not only to prevent pregnancy but also to protect bodily fluid from contacting. Anal Sex has higher chances of getting HIV + AIDS than Vaginal Penetration and Oral Sex. So! Like i said!
BE RESPONSIBLE! USE A CONDOM NO MATTER WHAT! DON'T BE A JERK!
